Vancouver Island/Victoria

Went to Victoria for 36 hours....Just another great trip and new experience. Ferry rides, hiding in the creep van, Birthday surprise party, rad friends, mass amounts of sushi, kebabs, desserts, laughs, mega twister, pancake and waffle breakfast, 30k bike tour to downtown Vic...so good.

Weekend Update

Headed to Vancouver Island tomorrow with Craig, Cory, and Adam to meet up with Eric and some of their other friends for a man weekend of fun. It'll be my first time going over to the island and man am I stoked. When I get back I work for two days, then it's off to the states for a road trip to home and beyond for two weeks. Then...when I get back, my friend Rico is coming up for a solid week of Glacier snowboarding....SO RAD. See you all real soon!

I'm Baaaaack Mega Post

So after a short lived two day blogging hiatus, I return, providing pictures from adventures. Since the closing days of the mountain last week, I've gone on a few camping and backpacking trips, played many rounds of wiffle golf, done a lot of night hanging and went to a 4X4 rally yesterday! We went on a pretty long hike today out past Pemberton to Rainbow Lake and it ended up that 90 percent of the hike was through snow, which made it more difficult, but more fun as well. Never a dull moment for this guy minus my new daily routine of puzzling to rest my ribs. OffRoad and Hiking photos courtesy of Craig. This upcoming weekend I'm going with Craig and a couple other friends to Victoria and Tofino to have crazy amounts of fun...Vancouver Island post to come.

 Went hiking down the shoreline and found a bunch of boats chained up...One was not so we commandeered it.

I don't have a tent up here, so I made a pretty badass shelter on the beach. 

Slept all night....nice and comfy. I filled in all of the gaps in the log with leaves to keep the rain and wind out.
