Tattoo Wednesdays

Last week I gave Rico a stick and poke tattoo and this week he returned the favor by bringing up his tattoo machine. We had another sweet day of riding followed by a delicious crock pot of chicken stew and tattoos.

Where I am. Where I'm Going to Be

Thought I would give some perspective to my whereabouts:

 South Lake Tahoe: 

A. is where I live and B. is Heavenly Resort 10 minutes away where I usually ride . Northstar-at-Tahoe is about 45 minutes away around the lake where I also ride once or twice a week.

Whistler, B.C. :

A. is where I will be living and B. is Whistler Village and Blackcomb Resort roughly 15 minutes away.

Whistler is about two hours north of Vancouver on the awesome Sea to Sky Highway.

Meadow Walkin'

I took a day off from riding today and when I eventually left the house, I went for a walk to a nearby meadow at sundown with Kat and Nika.

Argentinian Fun Friends and Dinner

Another awesome sunny "spring" day of heavy lapping in the park by myself yesterday. It only seems to get more fun. After riding I was invited to eat some food with a new friend Rebecca and our other mutual friend Michelle at Rebecca's house. While they were making curry for us, Rebecca's mom came home with four Argentinian dudes working in Tahoe for their winter break off from college. She was giving them a ride home from the mountain and decided to bring them home for dinner. Michelle's boyfriend came over as well for dinner. It turned into an excellent time! We drank, laughed, shared stories, made fun of each others mutual lack of understanding and played some music(Well Rebecca and some of the guys played guitar.). Random evening, but oh so fun.

Brought the camera out at the end of the day at North Star and got some shots in. Shaky first day of getting footage. Thanks to Rico for Filming. Learned some new tricks and rode hard with good friends.

Stick and Poke For Rico

Woke up at 7 this morning and headed out to North Star to shred for 7 hours. Ended the day with a family crock pot dinner of beef stew and I gave my friend Rico a stick and poke tattoo. Nothing more personal than stabbing your friend with a needle a million times.

House of 912 Christmas Tree

I seemingly arrived in South Lake just in time for the house of 912's Christmas tree cutting. Josh gave me a big chainsaw and simply said have at it...Insert large grin. Thanks Josh.  We had to walk a ways into the forest and spent a good forty minutes looking for the right tree, but it was awesome!

Tahoe

I'm back living at my good friend Kat's house in South Lake Tahoe for about a month. It hasn't actually snowed here in about three weeks without any in the forcast, but heshing park laps with amazing friends has made up for it.
