Tofino 2.0

OK.....Finally got Blogger to coroporate. So I went on a five day adventure to Tofino, which is on the west coast of Vancouver Island(Google it if you would like). Its one of the only places to surf in B.C. and not quite what you would picture when you thought of Canada. It was so beautiful and we got extremely lucky with the weather!

I mentioned to a local I wanted to camp on the beach(illegal) and he reccomened a spot not far from our legal campground. We checked it out before the sun came down.

So at eleven at night, I went on a solo mission to trek back to the beach under the cover of the night. This is what it looked like when I woke up.

We did a thirty minute hike on an illegal trail that led down to a secluded beach. Panoramas are below....Radar Beach. Awesome.

 After Tofino, I hitched back up to Whistler with Craig and did the tourist thing of going to the top of Whistler Mountain with Pat.

Weekends Hey...

On a whim, me and Kelsey shot down to Washington for the weekend. Left Vancouver late, got to Deception point on Whidbey Island just off of the coast even later, got the last campsite, forgot the air-matress valve, left the site without paying even later, drove to a small quite cove, parked the car, star gazed in camp chairs, slept in the car, woke up at 7 am to a still quite cove, checked out Deception Point and then headed to Seattle. Walked up and down Seattle and eventually met up with some old co-workers from Nordstrom San Diego, one being my good friend Taylor Bowan. Did some late night eating/drinking, and stayed the night at Taylor's apt in the heart of downtown. Finally...stopped in at Trader Joe's to buy copious amounts of inexpensive groceries and Two Buck Chuck on the way home. #RECOVERING
