Eagles Lake/Emerald Bay Super Post

The mountain was closed due to a wind hold today, so no riding again here in Tahoe. So instead we took a trip up to iconic Emerald Bay and hiked a couple miles up to Eagles Lake for a frozen surprise.

Classic.

 Keeping it Classy.

Sunset at Cave Rock

Woke up feeling much better today and ready to get back on the board only to find out the park was closed. Tomorrow is a blackout day too. I guess all this time off is good for the body. Anyway, good thing it hasn't snowed a lick because hiking is still an alternative activity when I can't ride. So, all the roommates took a hike up to the top of Cave Rock(Highway Rock Tunnel) to hang and watch the sunset. (Photo's by me and Kat)

 Yup. Sunset over Tahoe.
Artsy.

Late Night Tat for Kat

Today was a super low key movie watching, couch sitting, tea drinking, nap taking, kind of a day. That was until Kat decided  tonight was the night she wanted me to give her a friend tattoo. So I pulled it together and we had a pretty fun session. She cried, I laughed. She flinched, I yelled(and laughed). She was in pain, I laughed, then she laughed. It was a good time. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow and be able to hit the slopes after two days off.

Super Fun Shred Day at Northstar

OK. Seriously....today was the reason why I snowboard. We woke up early, slammed some food and coffee and headed straight to the mountain for an epic 6 hour day of shredding with the best friends ever. Nothing but high fives, laughs, sun and fun! Everyone's riding was on point with positive energy pushing us all day. There's no better feeling.

 Love these Clowns.

The ride home...No Big Deal.
