Rainy Days

The last day of Whistler's regular season was today. I didn't go up because my ribs are still pretty bad. I would have been more bummed, but I rode an amazing number of days this season. Last night we had a bonfire and camped out at my friend Claude's house which is a converted caboose. Claude's roommate and new Grill employee M.C.'s dad just happens to own the Scandinave Spa, so uh...ya, we got to spend today at the spa for free.

I went on a solo hike to avoid snowboarding a couple of days ago. 

There's plenty of snow in the park, but the ride out is becoming more non-existent everyday. The mountain closes for the regular season Monday and I'm actually taking the weekend off....well actually my ribs are preventing me from going up the hill this weekend. So Monday will be it! I will have ridden 90 days this regular season and will be breaking 100 riding the glacier. Pretty awesome.

Tattoo Convention Vid

So when I was getting my tattoo at the convention, a reporter for some Canadian news channel was doing a special and interviewed my artist. I found the video yesterday on youtube and clipped his interview out. Pretty random. Oh and it's May Long Weekend up here. F'in crazy. All sorts of people come to whistler JUST to party. There's gang units and flood lights everywhere. Apparently this weekend is notorious for fights and stabbings. People watching is amazing though. NINE DAYS LEFT OF RIDING!



Rad Days

Had my first day of filming yesterday. We went up expecting subpar icy conditions because it was cold up on the hill...It ended up being just another rad day. I was supposed to film my friend Dane, but his ski boot broke so he just filmed me for a couple hours....Awesome. Here's some video I turned into stills.

Nothing really new going on. Been working mass amounts of hours and snowboarding everyday. It's been crazy hot up here the last few days. Trying to get 100 days of riding in. So awesome.

Oh and allergy season is begginning to kick my ass as usual. Nothing better than feeling like your eyes are constantly on fire.
