Rad Days

Had my first day of filming yesterday. We went up expecting subpar icy conditions because it was cold up on the hill...It ended up being just another rad day. I was supposed to film my friend Dane, but his ski boot broke so he just filmed me for a couple hours....Awesome. Here's some video I turned into stills.

Blah Blah Blah

Nothing really new going on. Been working mass amounts of hours and snowboarding everyday. It's been crazy hot up here the last few days. Trying to get 100 days of riding in. So awesome.

Oh and allergy season is begginning to kick my ass as usual. Nothing better than feeling like your eyes are constantly on fire.

The Daily

Only three weeks left till the mountain closes...Don't worry though....the glacier opens back up after a  three week hiatus for a month.

I definitely crashed already. One wrong move going downhill and kablowy.

All you can eat off of the menu at Nagomi sushi...$30 a person...One and a half hour time limit...No food left behind....Between 4 people we racked up a $330 bill. Not just your average sushi either...mmmmm.

Spring Park

Yup...Spring Park is in full slushified effect. Just had two awesome days of sunny riding followed by pretty great hang out sessions. It doesn't actually get dark here until about 8 o'clock, so the potential to do fun stuff is almost endless. Weather forecast = sun sun sun.

Photo Dump From This Week

I've been working long days this week between my normal serving shifts and doing renovations for work. Hopefully all this work will let me bank some cash to have fun later traveling. I only went snowboarding one day this week due to all the working and shitty weather. But hey...I WENT snowboarding this week! I bought some new running kicks today to prepare for a 10k run at the end of the month and I know it's supposed to be a fun run, but I just want to compete and beat people. Tomorrow is supposed to bring a string of sunny days, so that only means one thing....SUNNY SHRED DAYS IN THE PARK!!!

The other night I worked from 11PM till 7AM and refinishing these tables was all I knew till the sun came up.

 I organized all the servers and bartenders at work to put money in on a gift for our bussers Yoshi and Yukiko who kill it all day everyday.  Our manager told Yoshi(pictured) there was a problem with the toilet and she needed to fix it....little did she know we were in the there waiting to give her her gift.

 I was in early the other day doing more renovations and Felix decided to buy and cook ingridients from the store to make breakfast steak sandwiches. SO GOOD!

Went mountain biking for the first real time with Craig today around Lost Lake behind my house. It was so badass! I had no idea how fun and exhilerating it was and I wasn't even using the best bike for the job.

Mongolie Grill Flip-Off!

This past Monday was the annual flip-off competition slash staff party at my work. It was awesome! Everyone was hyped to be there, the grillers were killed it during competition and there was free craft beer from whistler brewing company flowing all night...mmmm. It's been along time since I've worked with such an amazing crew of people. My work is...rad.
