The Closing of the Summer Shred

This is the last week of summer shred here in Whis. The glacier will be shutting down this up coming Saturday, which is a total bummer of course. What doesn't suck though is the fact that all of the camps on the glacier are done and the only people riding will be the people in public park (Which = No Lift Line Ups) Another added to bonus(NBD) is that I'm going down to Oregon this Saturday to go snowboarding and camping at Mt. Hood. Going to Mt. Hood in the summer is something I've wanted to do for a super long time, so I decided to just make it happen.

Blogging Hiatus

Welp....Been having too much fun as usual what with snowboarding, skating, friends, and adventures. So due to the fun factor, my picture taking kind of came to a halt, and I'd rather have the photos tell most of my story....hence the lack of blogging. Rico came to visit from Oakland last week and we had a blast. We went riding everyday and skated the Camp of Champions Private Mini-Ramp...NBD. The day after Rico left, I left for the Okanagan Valley to chill lakeside for a few days. Just about 10 days left of glacier riding...sucks.

Midnight Mini-Ramp Session

We were able to skate a closed mini-ramp last night due to our friend Brett being the nigh security guard up at Camp of Champions.We probably skated till two in the morning...well I pretty much watched Craig, Pat, Kyle, Arnaud and Louie kill it. More Glacier shred today and tomorrow and the next and the next and the next and the next and the next......

Glacier Living/Public Park

So I pretty much died and went to snowboard heaven here in Whistler. It's not enough I had one of the best seasons of my life up here, but now I get to keep riding everyday up on the glacier. Just rails and jumps all day....fuck ya...park rats. Back in the routine of shred.work.skate.sleep....Cant stop wont stop.

CA.TO.CA.

California road trip round 1....my camera. I stopped taking pictures after our first visit to SF, but I'll be posting Pat and Kelsey's photos in the next couple of days hopefully. Camped in the middle of a public park and a random field. Laughed the whole way. Ate too much food and drank copious amounts of booze. Went on the coffee and gum diet. Smiled the whole way. Crushed some rock. Took some chances and played it all be ear. Hung out with all my best friends. Spend precious time with my family. Caught some Cali rays. Wakeboarded. Slept under the stars. Got some tattoos in SF. Danced the night away at Motown Mondays. Danced under the stars. Shared some ridiculous inside jokes. Chatted up everyone everywhere. Skateboarded in Oregon and California....Marin skate sesh was really rad. Ate shitty food. Ate amazing food...ARIGATO and RADIUS(Peter Cham is unbelievably killing it as Executive Chef). Listened to the Throne about 45 times..."We're driving to one song and one song only". Got really close with two awsome people and Gained a new roomate. RadFunTimes for sure! Wish we were still on the road. I miss everyone already. Glacier shredding begins Tuesday though...Yup!
