Nairn Falls Hike

No snowboarding today due to shitty conditions, so we went on a small hike in the rain instead. Pretty stoked on the backpacking to come.

Van Visit 3.0

 Went down to Vancouver early Saturday morning to hang with friends and once again it turned into a lot unexpected fun. Got a three dollar full breakfast at a place called Bons I can only describe as a dirty, hip, in and out cafe with the only requirements of being hung over upon entering. Went to a record store than met up with more friends for beers at a nearby cafe. The latter part of the afternoon was spent utilizing Fancy Ben's rooftop hot-tub, which led to a sushi dinner in the park. The next day I met up with a couple dudes from work in North Van and we went to the West Coast Tattoo and Culture Show, which was a pretty sweet experience for sure.

I forgot how good craft beer was. Whistler is lacking...

On the last sunny day, I was lucky enough to get some action shots taken by Jason Boron.

Shred.Bungee.Party.

There was a lack of posting due to normal life taking over...ie snowboarding and working constantly. Yesterday was rad though! I went for a morning park shred, which led directly to a noon bungee jumping session, which turned into free beer and appies, which turned into a rail jam and hang-out at the skate park. My work won the winter whistler wide customer service challenge, so our owners rewarded us with bungee jumping for the whole crew and the City Commerce of Whistler gave us $500 to the Longhorn Restaurant. The whole experience of bungee jumping was amazing...Either getting hyped on everyone doing sweet jumps or rooting on the people that were scared shitless. Definitely glad it was free though. More bungee and snowboard pics to come.
